About Us

Our History

 EDCO Food Products, Inc. is one of the largest privately owned processors of pepper products and pickles in North America. Our processing facility is located in Chihuahua, Mexico and our corporate headquarters is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

We distribute our products economically throughout the world with customers located in the United States, Canada, Central America, Southwest Asia and Europe. Our business has been built on the production of high-quality bulk industrial ingredients and private label foodservice products. A strong focus on customer requirements has provided a base of distribution in over 25 countries worldwide. Flexibility and rapid product development have assisted many of our customers by creating ingredients for their product needs in both domestic and international expansion plans.

EDCO's origins can be traced back to the The W.E. Riley Company, which was founded in 1933.  James Manning purchased the company in 1988 and changed the name to EDCO Food Products, Inc.

In 1992, Mr. Manning opened our state-of-the-art factory in Chihuahua, Mexico, recognizing that the raw material quality could be improved by having our factory located closer to the growers. Due to our location, we shorten the holding time of raw product to bring fresher, brighter colored finished product to the end-user.

Mission Statement

 EDCO Food Products, Inc. is committed to supplying its customers the finest, high-quality products and ingredients which are manufactured to meet international food safety standards.  We strive to build a company that provides opportunities for its employees and is responsible to the community.  EDCO supports these goals with a corporate philosophy of adhering to the highest ethical conduct in its business dealings, treatment of its employees and social and environmental policies.  

Customer Service

 Our in-house customer service team will work directly with you to process your order, answer product & ingredient questions and quickly move your product to its final destination.  We have been supplying ingredients to large food processors since 1992.  We use our food processing knowledge to help our customers with ingredient and packaging solutions to create high-quality finished products at a value.

All products are shipped from our El Paso, TX warehouse where each order is staged for shipment.  We will work with you to find the most efficient transportation available. 

EDCO products and ingredients are packed-to-order which gives our customer the freshest, highest quality product possible.  Product comes out of our bulk inventory and is packed in foodservice or bulk ingredient containers and moved expeditiously to your facility.
